New Zealand designed and manufactured, moulded from a glass-reinforced nylon composite the skin fitting nut and body. High strength, high-modulus glass fibres give very high strength, rigidity, toughness and consistent sizing. The use of a composite such as this gives a huge reduction in weight over bronze, DZR and stainless fittings without sacrificing performance.

When used in below the waterline the Ball Valve should be connected directly to the skin fitting to meet safety requirements and meet marine standard compliance.
